Vacations

It was a ‘’normal” day in 3rd grade. But then my parents got a call that there was no school for two weeks because of this thing called “Covid-19”. I was excited. I thought this was going to be the best two weeks of my life. I was going to hang out with my friends, but I soon found out that school was online. Then, things took a turn for the worse. The entire United States went on lockdown and I couldn’t leave my house at all. What I thought could be the best two weeks ever turned into a nightmare. From March-May I didn’t leave my house at all. June came and we went on vacation. We finally got to travel again after 2 months. We kept going on vacations for months. Since then, everything was good until December 2021 when I got Covid-19 and I lost all my taste and smell. It was at least a week or two until my family was fine, and vacationed to Florida.  Vacations were my story of hope when it seemed like nobody could ever go anywhere again.
