Two Years of Hope

By Quinn, Age 11

When I first found out about covid-19, I was in second grade getting ready to do a play in music class.I already had a dress and everything but then my teacher said we couldn’t do it and that we had to make a video. I was really sad. Then my whole sports season was canceled. I never had a drive through birthday party but my brother did. It was so different from a birthday party. I thought the masks were going to last 2 weeks but they actually lasted 2 years. I am in 4th grade now in Mrs. Mostearts class. It was a hard 2 years, especially for you Kelly Yang, but we all just had to keep up our hope. I hope you enjoyed my pandemic story. I enjoyed yours.
