Things that helped me through covid
By Sarah, Age 12
When Covid hit I thought it would be small but I was so wrong! During the pandemic I’ve become more social and less social at the same time.
One thing that’s really helped me is music. I spend so much of my time listening to music. Literal hours! Reading has also really helped me. My older sister loves to read, so sometimes I would borrow a book of hers to read. Going outside is super calming. I have a hammock at my house and reading in it can clear my thoughts quicker than Hermione from Harry Potter can tell Ron he’s doing something wrong!
Another thing that’s helped me through Covid is my cat. His name is Arthur; he’s a big purry pants!

The worst part about school during Covid, wasn’t wearing masks, it was actually not being able to hang out with friends in other classes. At my school, each class is separated to help distance. I never liked working online since my wifi was always bad at my house, so when I found out we were going back to school I was ecstatic! I hope you have a fantastic rest of your day!
