Stuck in Sweden

“Finally after 8 months were going to the USA and meeting dad!” I said this probably a 100 times in the car going to the airport in Sweden.
In the airport a few people were wearing masks, I was wearing one too. Covid was still kind of new at the time so I didn’t understand why we needed to wear a mask that well. After, we checked our baggage in, we went to the gate.
“Why do I have to wear this mask?” my brother Sixten asked.
“It makes me look like I have a duck beak!” he said.
To this, me and my oldest brother Valdermar laughed. A few minutes later the announcement went off and said that the flight was boarding. I squealed with excitement, it had been so long since I had been on an airplane. After we landed almost everyone was wearing masks, different types too. It was hard finding my dad but after a few minutes I found him.

My whole family was excited and happy to finally meet him after so long of being stuck in Sweden!
