My name is Freya and I am 9 years old. I live in Hong Kong. I like to swim and play netball. Unfortunately, because of the virus, these have been cancelled. We are currently on our fifth wave and Covid has become more annoying by the second. Here are my reasons why Covid is annoying: Firstly, Covid has stopped me from seeing most of my friends, which I miss. Secondly, we are not able to go to school, therefore, I am home schooling.
Despite all of Covid 19 negatives, there are some positives. The good thing about Covid is that our weekends are free and we have time to do different sports like hiking.
I had never hiked before Covid and it’s a great way to explore. My family and I have nearly completed hiking the MacLehose trail, which is 100 kilometres long. We have also hiked the highest mountain in Hong Kong: Tai Mo Shan, which is 957 meters tall. Another sport we began to do was kayaking. With lots of practice, we are now able to go pretty far when we kayak.
