My Teachers Made Online School Fun!

During the pandemic school was very challenging, especially starting middle school. School on Zoom was very hard for me, especially with staying engaged and paying attention. One thing that did make me laugh was watching my teachers dance during P.E. Everyday was like life was on repeat, waking up, and logging into school.

In my class, we cooked every week and since we were online, my teachers got very creative and decided to do a cooking show called, “The Masked Chef.” because we never knew who it was. This cooking show was my favorite part of the week because we all got to take turns picking something that they would cook for part of our class each week. When it was my turn, I chose my grandmother’s recipe with beef tips and noodles. My teachers also made a birthday cake for me along with Deep Fried Oreos! Although we didn’t get to taste those items, I loved the show and how creative my teachers made it for us! It’s better being at school and not in the pandemic. And now I am happy that I am in school.
