I remember the day my school shut down so vividly. I never want to relive that day again. I hated leaving my friends and teachers. My fourth grade teachers were some of my favorite teachers even if it was for a small amount of time. The mask mandate came out and that’s when I realized that it was no joke.
Next thing I knew it was fifth grade — big deal — that means I’m now in the middle school! I remember that day like it was yesterday. The first thing I did was a word search for my one teacher, which was pretty easy. This is when I realized how much I missed school, my teachers, and my friends. I am so thankful for all the teachers that helped me survive 2021 and the craziness of Covid.
