My name is Will, and I have a story to tell. It starts when my third grade teacher informed our class that we may need to begin learning from home through Zoom. My family was also supposed to be traveling to Ireland for spring break that month, but Covid-19 canceled it. I was disappointed, because it was supposed to be my first international vacation.
I thought that learning from home might be fun, but I was wrong. We were not coordinated and it was harder than I expected to get on the right Zoom and complete my assignments.
Fourth grade was much better, and my class and I even made some funny memories. Our teacher put herself on mute sometimes, and she would be talking for a bit before she realized no one could hear her. One day three of us in class put our puppets on camera and there was madness. One of them was dancing, and another was going wild. On Halloween, I dressed Buddy (my puppet) as a pirate. It was hard, but we made it with hope.
