Look on the bright side

It all started around March 2020. Covid was really serious and school was closed. I found out that there will be online school for 2 weeks. At first, I thought it would be cool because it was a new thing and I never tried it before. After the first day of online school, I really liked it. I thought online classes would be short-lived, but it was longer than I thought. “Man, I was so tired of this isolation rule and I really missed seeing my “Live” friends”. Later in the school year, I realized it wasn’t as bad as I expected. I made some new “online” friends! I got good at “online” chatting so when the school year ended, I could still talk with them. “Yes, this pandemic was a terrible time in our lives, but there are some positives to it as well”. If it were for not Covid I would have never experienced a new teacher or some of my new friends because they live in a different part of the city. Today I still keep in touch with these friends. Covid-19 has brought a lot of countries together in this pandemic battle.
We sometimes recognize gratefulness when we are suffering. For me, I made friendships that I hope to have forever.
