In 3rd grade we went remote because of a virus. It was hard to end remote learning. I felt sad because I couldn’t say goodbye to my teachers. But all of that left my mind when I found out that we got to go to a Loteria parade with all the teachers on the last day! It was so much fun to see them all dressed up. When I entered 4th grade, my fears of Covid were even worse than ever as my dad tested positive. I was really worried but days later my dad got better! I was relieved, yet very soon, my grandma got sick too. I was scared that my family was going to be ruined by this virus. Thankfully, my grandma got better so I was very happy. Then I found out that my aunt was going to have a baby girl! It was very exciting news. But when my baby cousin was a newborn, she died of the virus. I felt shattered. My heart hurt so bad and I
cried a lot. Not long after that, my mom had a baby. I felt so much love when my little brother, Nathan, came into our lives.
