March 2020, Covid-19 lathered the world with illness, depression, and poverty. We felt like we were aliens on our own planet, fearing what would happen if we went outside or in public. It seemed as if everything stopped except for the blue sky and chirping birds. I was very bored and lonely. One morning, I looked up at the sky. Ahh, the sun is so bright I thought to myself. This continued every day for about a week when one morning I realized the sun is always shining, even on the rainiest and cloudiest days you see the sun trying to spread its rays of joy.
I thought that if even during these hard times the sun is always shining and spreading its bright rays with the world, then why can’t I? Even though I am going through hard times that does not mean I can’t help others with theirs. From there on I tried my best to make the best of it and give hope to others which gave hope to me that we can overcome this together.
