How A Treehouse Brought Us Together

In the summer of 2020, during the pandemic, my whole family started to build a treehouse in our backyard. It gave us a project to do and a place to play in! It also helped us to stay connected. This is how…
First, my Dad found the plans and he, my Grampie and my Uncle started building. My sisters and I would watch them build it up and we even took turns painting the treehouse once it was done!  After it was built up and painted, my Nanny chose the curtain and brought it over for the front of the treehouse. For the finishing touch we put up a sign that said “Pop’s Place, established 2020”.

That is how we made the treehouse and how it brought our family together during the pandemic.
