Harry Potter

I love to read. It lets me escape the real world and go into a new world. One of my favorite series of books is the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. It contains the character that makes me feel finally seen, Luna Lovegood. 

I may not look like her or be magic, but my personality is a lot like her. Like her, I like to sometimes dress up and support my friends even if they’re on a different team. She did this for Ron Weasley even though he’s in Gryffindor and she’s in Ravenclaw. I love making new friends no matter who they are. I do silly dance moves especially with my family and friends. And I’m ALWAYS losing and forgetting things especially my shoes. I took the official Harry Potter House test and I’m in Ravenclaw like Luna.

To be a Ravenclaw means you show excellent wisdom, wit, and have a skill for learning. I’ll always be willing to help no matter what it is.

Luna makes me feel seen and makes me feel special at the same time. Harry Potter may not be real but in my heart Luna is real.
