Grateful for family time

By Emmanuel, age 9

The pandemic was extremely confusing for one thing. I don’t like how we need to wear masks. It’s exceedingly tough to breathe and hard to talk to other people. But I will tell you about my story about the Pandemic  when we couldn’t go outside. I didn’t know how we were going to see loved ones and go to school. It was confusing but I was missing my friends, especially Romeo, my best friend. Then zooming became a thing. Zooming made it possible for me to be able to see my friends again. It made me very happy soon after I came to third grade. I had a lot of fun and then I came to fourth grade. I am now in person and I’m having even more fun but I had my family during the pandemic and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
