From a Distance

My start of the pandemic might interest you, but there is only one way to find out… My first time hearing about the pandemic was in fourth grade, and kids were talking about it. It was nothing but a subject to talk about then. That’s when holy chaos broke through. To begin, I was having some troubles with my digital work for school. I didn’t even know how to resubmit assignments. Wow! That dates a while back! Additionally, my parents were a huge help to me, and they must have sent 100 emails to my teachers! Those were the good old days. Just kidding.
What I learned through this entire process is that teachers, parents, family, and friends are the key to getting through such a tough situation, even if it is from a distance.
So school that year was not so fun. Sadly, there is more to this story. In addition to doing cyber school, my parents wanted me to stay inside the house for my safety. I couldn’t even see my extended family unless it was through a window or a nice touch of a hand-written note. What I learned through this entire process is that teachers, parents, family, and friends are the key to getting through such a tough situation, even if it is from a distance.
