Finding Fun in Nature!

My name is Joshua, I am 8 years old and I live in Hong Kong. We have lived with COVID for two years, the number of cases were very low but since December they have gone up. We have nearly 10,000 cases a day.  Now, most people are not going outside and we have to stay in groups of two. I have to home school and it is terrible. I am unhappy because I cannot do any sport, my rugby and my football has been cancelled. It is very annoying! Sadly, many of my friends are leaving Hong Kong and we might leave too, if the schools don’t reopen. We do still have fun though.

We do a lot of activities with my family. I have tried to keep active and ran ten km, I have biked 23 km which was super difficult. With my family, we have done a lot of hiking. I have hiked Ma On Shan, Sharp Peak, and Lions Rock. I have been kayaking  and also liked glamping with my friends. I also liked surfing and skimboarding. It was fun to do!
