Discovering my interest in art

The pandemic was hard on everyone, but mine?… Mine was different. Yes, it destroyed a part of me but it also gave me a new me.

Yes, it destroyed a part of me but it also gave me a new me.

Pre Pandemic, I was a very outdoorsy person. My parents had to beg me to come home because I would get so tanned in the summer. When the pandemic hit suddenly, I had to stay at home, my parents stocked up on food every two months and, school became virtual indefinitely. I told myself, “This will go away” but it didn’t so I started to find other things to distract me from all the bad things that were happening. I started taking art courses, learning to draw fashion models, and making vlogs: I tried anything creative. And guess what? I was getting good at drawing, painting, and technology! Before in school, I hated all these things but now I enjoyed them and developed an interest in being creative. As the weeks went by, I started to develop an interest in music and learned that too. The pandemic gave me time to improve and you could too.
