A pandemic journey through my eyes

By Hanna, Age 10

When covid-19 started it was only in a few countries. No one knew it would become a pandemic. Then we had to go online for everything. We had to go in a lockdown. Everybody took their health more seriously like, washing their hands more and more until it hurt. We had to hide our pretty smiles under a mask and learn to smile with our eyes. Many people bought pets to relieve stress and to kill their boredom. I also got a dog. Two years passed and this pandemic has become our new normal and routine. Many people had to work from home, so families could spend more time together.

We got real superheroes, our frontline workers. I have noticed everybody has a hope and believes that we will go back to our normal lives.
