“See you after summer break!” I cheerfully yelled at my friend.
“Bye!’ He yelled back.
When I returned home the following day, I turned on the news and saw there was a new virus named Covid-19. I thought it was just like a cold, so I just kept on doing what I normally do every day. 2 months later I woke up for the first day of school, “Mom I’m ready for school!” I yelled.
“Your school is online,” My mom said.
“When will I go back?” I said sadly.
“I don’t know. Your first meeting is today with your new class, so get ready fast!” My mom said.
“Ok,” I spoke.
I got my sister’s laptop and I logged into teams. I saw my teacher and my new classmate’s names. Then I saw my friend’s name on the list. I was so excited I ran across my house. I went back to my seat, and I logged onto the meeting. Everyone was there and we had a lot a fun.
Covid-19 made us go in a lockdown, but it still made people better friends.
