A fun way to cope with stress
By Suttyn, age 12
It was the day after our whole 4th-grade had learned about the virus spreading around the world. I hadn’t thought that the virus would spread all the way to America, though. So, the next morning when I woke up on the day of my best friend’s birthday, the news dropped. We weren’t going back to school until further notice. I was so excited that we didn’t have school, but then I realized that I wouldn’t be able to go to my BFF’s birthday party.
One month later…
Stress. That is the only word I can describe the time I was having in this part of my life.
Stress. That is the only word I can describe the time I was having in this part of my life. The whole school district went virtual. So we had to do school from home. Which that meant zoom meetings, random assignments, and a whole semester without learning ANYTHING! At this time I got SUPER stressed with virtual classes. But I still found ways to find myself entertainment. So in between every zoom meeting I would call with my friends Emmie, Harper, Brynn, other Emme, and Payton. Where we would all play roblox together. It was the best. I still play roblox with them to this day.
