A full house
By Jules, age 11
For my pandemic story I’d like to talk about why living with 6 people is stressful. Just when Covid started, my family moved in with my grandparents due to construction work happening in our house. Everyday Dad and Grandpa would go to work in the morning and the other family members would be left alone; we couldn’t go anywhere due to COVID. This led to a problem of Mom and Grandma always fighting about small things. They just couldn’t get along with each other. The only thing that kept me sane was video chatting with my New Zealand friends and enjoying the view of cherry blossom trees from my room. It was hard to see family members fight with each other. Moreover, there was nothing I could do about it. So, I did my best to keep them apart as long as possible. It was seriously the best I could do. Now my family is back at our home. I’d like to say that Covid has been a very hard part of my life and I’ll try my best to help my family.
