A Blast of Happiness

Have you ever had your birthday party during a pandemic? Well, I have. Let me tell you about
it. It was April 20, 2020, and we were in remote learning – it was also the day before my
birthday. That night, I slept with my heart filled with joy. The next morning, I woke up to
streamers, balloons, and the smell of a big, chocolate cake. We had an amazing breakfast and
spent the whole evening outside playing games in the park like badminton, soccer, and board
games. During the day, we went shopping for my presents and we also got to talk with my
friends and relatives. To end the day, we went out for dinner.

Even though the world was filled with disaster at that time, my parents were still able to give me the best birthday ever.
